Role: Client producer, editor for ad variations
Scope: Sourcing of video production company, reaching out to merchants to get approvals and responses, pre-production scriptwriting, being on set to direct merchants during actual production, liaising with production company for post-production output, and video editing to produce ad variations of the final deliverables.

Angle: To promote Carousell’s InstantBuy (deprecated) as a reliable certification program for secondhand items, especially electronics.
Considerations: The biggest challenge for e-commerce in the secondhand goods industry is consumer confidence, especially when it comes to high value items like electronics. We produced this case study to help boost visibility for the certification program so Carousell buyers have peace of mind when purchasing.
